MTA is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the team in Arujà.
Position Summary:
The person will manage relationships with suppliers with a focus on improvement of product quality.
He/she will deal with customers complaint management, and will participate in new developments with new customers and intercompany projects.
He/she will provide technical support to customers during the development phases of new products and modifications. He/she will also be responsible for creating the Control Plan for new developments and managing Quality spreadsheets and software, RMP, and PPR.
Main responsibilities:
• Development of products and processes for new suppliers;
• APQP management and participation;
• Control Plan management and execution;
• Non-conformance response evaluation;
• PFMEA and DFMEA management and participation;
• Technical visits to customers for the application of new products;
• FMEA application;
• Comprehensive review of PPAP to be submitted to the customer;
• Complaint evaluation and technical assistance to the customer during project development;
• Evaluation of customer-specific requirements;
• Process audit for new suppliers;
• Support senior management in ensuring, establishing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS and EMS according to IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, customer requirements, and other company requirements.
Technical skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
• English proficiency;
• Knowledge of Quality Tools (APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA);
• Good knowledge of Stellantis, Renault, and MAN specific requirements;
• Knowledge of technical standards;
• VDA 6.3 Auditor (Desirable).
