MTA site in Isola Vicentina produces various types of antennas (5G cellular, Wi-Fi, WB, AM/FM, DAB, SDARS, GNSS, V2X, etc.) both for original equipment and the aftermarket for the automotive, motorbike, truck and off-highway industries. The research and development department has high expertise and experience on communication technologies and supports the customer from design concept through to production.
We are looking for a Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Designer.
Main requirements:
He/She will:
• design electromagnetic solutions for Radio Frequency communication systems, starting from customer technical specifications and/or project requirements;
• design the electromagnetic solutions of the product by using antenna simulation SW (Feko, CST) and electronic CAD SW (Altium Designer);
• drive the realization of samples to test and optimize the robustness of design and will be responsible for the tuning and final testing of electromagnetic prototypes;
• prepare relevant documentation, including test reports with result analysis, following Company and customer quality standards;
• participate in Project Reviews following automotive quality standards.
Organizational interfaces:
He/She will:
• join the Electromagnetic Design Team, within the R&D department;
• daily interface with colleagues from other R&D teams and further company stakeholders (e.g. Quality, Purchasing, Sales).
Skills & qualifications:
• Degree in Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering
• Knowledge of antenna theory and electromagnetic simulation
• Basic knowledge of main lab instrumentation as Oscilloscope, Multimeter and RF Network Analyzer and/or Spectrum analyzer
• Knowledge of measurement electromagnetic site (Network Analyzer, Near Field, Far Field, free space measurements)
• Knowledge of Electronic CAD for antenna design and simulation
