MTA is a multinational company operating in the automotive sector through 2 Business Units: Electrical and Electronic. From design to industrialization, MTA produces a wide portfolio of components for the primary manufacturers of cars, motorcycles, trucks, agricultural and earth moving machines.
MTA is looking an experienced PCB Designer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and prototyping Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for various projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the design process, experience in the industry, and excellent technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design PCBs for various projects using CAD tools such as Altium
- Develop schematics from specifications provided by engineers
- Analyze and troubleshoot existing PCB designs
- Design test setups to verify functionality of designed boards
- Develop board layouts to meet customer requirements
- Generate manufacturing files such as Gerber files and NC drill data
- Research new components and technologies
- Provide technical support to the engineering team
- Maintain accurate records of all design work
- Ensure designs meet safety standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a PCB designer or related role
- IPC certification
- Proficient with PCB CAD tools such as Altium, Zucken
