for the establishment of a production facility in Morocco, in the Atlantic Free Zone of Kenitra.
This new

components is expected to start. The investment of MTA in this project, will
amount to 42 million euros. The new Kenitra site will occupy an area of
50,000m² and will respect the characteristics of the other MTA
sites in the world in terms of safety and architecture. Particular attention
will be paid to energy efficiency, in full compliance with the rules against
pollution, and the well-being of the personnel employed. MTA has forecasted to
directly hire 450 people, of which at least 50 will be highly specialized
engineers who will operate in Research & Development Department. With this
in mind, MTA has already signed collaboration agreements with local
universities and Research Centers in order to create a department of excellence
that can significantly contribute to the development of the new site.
The
agreement was signed by 26 different investors from different countries at the Royal Palace of
Casablanca, in the presence of King Mohammed VI with the Minister of Morocco's Industry,
Commerce, Investment and Digital Economy, Moulay Hafid Elalamy and the Minister
of Economy and Finance, Mohamed Boussaid. This project was born within the
