MTA Slovakia doubles

Codogno, Italy, 24th March 2016. MTA SpA, a leading company in the design and production ofelectromechanical and electronic products supplied to the main OEMs, hasdoubled the existing spaces of its plant in Slovakia. In fact, a new areadedicated to the plastic molding, to the warehouse and to the new offices hasbeen added near the existing one.

The plastic molding departmentis already working since October 2015 when the first press was installed. I n the space of two years, when it is fullyoperational, it will have a total of 20 presses ranging from 220t to 300t.Thanks to this important investment, MTA Slovakia is now independent in themolding of plastics used in its electromechanical components.

MTA Slovakia wasfounded in Banovce nad Bebravou in 2004, a strategic position thanks to itsproximity to the 2 important airports of Bratislava and Vienna, and has had asignificant expansion in the years both in terms of labour force - over 300employees are working there - and in terms of workers’ skills. Thanks to thesecharacteristics, MTA Slovakia continues to win large orders stronglycontributing to the growth of its know-how.

At the same time, MTAis strengthening its presence all over the world: the company has opened in facta new plant for the assembly of electromechanical components in the industrialdistrict of Jinshan (Shanghai). In Mexico, in the Parque Tecnológico Innovaciónof Queretaro, the company has inaugurated a new facility, where powerdistribution units and electromechanical products are assembled. In the USA it hasopened a second office in Detroit which works alongside the one of Chicago startedin 2007. The company has operation sites in Brazil, Poland and India, as well.

At the same time, MTAstill believes in Italy, where thecompany continues to invest: in the Codogno plant, where existing spaces arealways under renovation, and in Rolo where in 2014 a new modern plant for theelectronic production has been opened. The global growth of MTA, parallel to the significant investments in Italy, confirms theseriousness of the company and witnesses its quality, its reliability and itsinnovative capacities, recognized worldwide.
